There will be No Fall Play this year.

Winter Play 2020 The Children’s Hour by Lillian Hellman

The Childrens Hour Poster 2020The Children’s Hour performnaed to sold out audiences in an intimate black box theatre style with only 100 seats available for each performance. The play, set in a 1934 girls boarding school features what happens when a girl tells a lie about the teachers. The lie spreads and eventually desroys the school, relationships, and ruins the lives of everyone involved. We received numerous positive comments about the maturity of the actors, the fabulous detail of the set and costumes, and the importance of the message for high school student in our world of social media.

Fall Play 2017 - She Kills Monsters

(Young Adventurers Edition) by Qui Nguyen

She Kills Monsters Poster

Agnes, a "normal" girl by all accounts, looks for closure following the death of sister. While packing up her sister's belongings, Agnes stumbles across a homemade Dungeons & Dragons quest, written by Tilly. Determined to get to know Tilly after her death, Agnes finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed advenure in the imaginary world that was her sister's refuge. Once she starts, Tilly comes to life as Tillius the Paladin, and Agnes is able to role-play conversations with her sister, lessening the estrangement between the two. As the play (and quest) progress, so do Agnes' attitudes towards geeks and geek culture — an idea that's conveniently framed by Agnes' life outside the game, meeting the real-life versions of   the characters Tilly transported to her fantasy land in the game. This play is rated PG13.
